I had a date over once, and Harry Potter came on the television. Before I could tell him how much I loved it, he said that the author of those books had absolutely no talent in creative writing. I promptly threw him out of my house. No one insults J.K Rowling in front of me.

I mean…he was right. Her story line is FABULOUS, but her writing is definitely not that great. From a literary standpoint, the Harry Potter books aren’t that great. Plot wise, however, they are amazing.
